6 1/2 months pregnant and fighting the fight !

0:00

I found out i was pregnant in April 2011 with my 4th child which was quite the surprise but was very excited to hear the great news. I had noticed a lump in my left breast so I went to see the Dr because I was very concerned. The Dr ordered a ultrasound right away and it came back very suspicious, i was then ordered to have the lump bi-opsied. On july 1st 2011 i had my bi-opsy and on July 8th 2011 I receivedthe phone call with information no one ever wants to receive it was breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on August 8th 2011 thepathology report showed the tumor was twice as big as they thought it was and had to spread to my lympthnodes. I am currently undergoing chemo therapy I am going in to Loma Linda University Medical Center today for my 3rd round of chemo therapy where I have been going for all of my treatment including for the baby. We are having another baby boy and so far baby is growing at the rate it should be growing and is doing just fine. The Dr's have been so awesome throught this whole process thank God because it has a very difficult time for our family. I have lost all of my hair and emotionally and physically it has been very hard on all of us . My baby is due on January 26, 2012 and just cant wait to see him.
