Faith for a Cure

On February 18, 2010 we lost a wonderful woman to this terrible disease. Lisa Reisner was an AMAZING lady with the strenghth of and army. She had her good days and bad days, but in the end...they were all good, becaue she was here with her family. Lisa found out she had cancer when her youngest child was an infant. It's all they have ever known, but were bonded closer because of it. Lisa had a smile that would brighten a room and a laugh that was contagious. She felt the need to update everyone so there were no rumors or misinformation. She was honest with all of us who had questions and never got angry, when we went to tears with sadness.....she just just smiled and said "I'm a fighter!" She even wrote a book for us to understand what she was thinking and even though she was unable to finish it herself,her wonderful family helped put it all together for her. Now, we will always have her thoghts with us. I miss my friend so very much, but her faith got her through over 5 years of fighting and suffering as it just continued to grow inside her body, but that faith helps me to know she was ready when the time came. I LOVE YOU, LISA!!!
