I WILL SURVIVE

0:00

A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. My life changed dramatically. I soon learned terms like moderately differentiated ductal cell carcinoma, "PET scan", staging, exactly what chemotherapy was about and many, many more that became the language of my new life. I never WANTED to know this language. I never PLANNED on being here but I am and I intend to win this battle. I have 2 daughters that I have promised to be there for them when they marry and have children. I'm new at this but very, VERY determined. I have a strong faith in my God and the prayers of friends of mine and my children are being lifted to heaven from literally all over the world through the internet. I chose my symbol of The Warrior because I feel that I am and will remain both powerful and courageous through this battle and will be able to be of support to future women struck with this disease.
