My new sis and my blind grandson
0:30I had a myspace and somehow we found each other, her name is Dana, both of us were going through breast cancer. This past year, her cancer came and spread :( she is still fighting for her life. She is so very strong and such a wondeful person.
After my breast cancer, I had some horrible things going on in my life and Dana saved my life, i was tired and ready to give up! she would not let me. I owe my life to her! I travel 10 hours or more to see her because it lifts her spirits, i just got home from the St. Louis bc walk, I surprised Dana when she arrived. I promised her I would somehow buy her and I both a breast cancer mustang.
I also have a 5yr blind grandson who loves Dana very much and she loves him back, We are going to give him a ride in our mustangs,he is angry becaue he will never be able to drive, it makes him happy to know, he will soon be riding with us girls in that mustang someday! I entered every contest i could to win one so Dana could get a head start and i would wait for mine but..didnt work out. So :) if you happen to have a connection to get this wonderful woman, Dana a mustang, I would be so greatful!! anyway, there is way more to my story but you dont have enough room. lol Thank you for listening. This video is my blind gradndson in Michigan talking to Dana in Illinois. This blind child, Dylan also found my breast cancer. He is a very special gift to all of us.

06/16/2010 04:06 pmDana is my daughter and we have "adopted" Shelly and her whole family and feel like we've been kin forever. Too bad girls that I'm not rich....I'd buy you both one of those Mustangs! My son was murdered in 2007, lost both my parents 13 days apart in Feb.2009 to cancer, then my grandson in an accident on May 20TH of that same year. Dana was diagnosed with bc in Jan.2006. And now my husband and I are raising my sons 2 youngest children. Life has become very complicated, but because of the love of God and seeing how He causes some of us to not only meet but become family just assures me that as long as we hang on to the faith, and accept love from who ever gives it....we will all be survivors in the end! God gives us all special gifts, we just have to open the eyes of our hearts to see what He has in store for us.

06/16/2010 06:06 pmI too know Dana and she is a strong woman fighting this horrible illness. I had the privilege of meeting Shelly this past weekend at the St. Louis Susan G. Komen walk. We took a photo of Shelly standing next to the Mustang by the Ford Cares booth. If anyone deserves one of these cars, it would be Dana and Shelly.

06/16/2010 09:06 pmLet me start by saying that I am related to Shelly snd her grandson. I know first hand how much Dana means to Shelly. She taught Shelly how to be strong when she felt weak. Dana is definatly an angel that walks among us.Her day to day battles are more than I can imagine, but she keeps a smile on her face and kind words in her heart. Dana thank you for giving my aunt the support she needed. You could touch her in a way that none of us could, because we havent been through it. I have only had the pleasure of meeting Dana once or twice but her impact on my life was so strong I will never forget her. If I had the money I would buy her that mustang, but it still could never repay her for saving my Aunt Shelly. I am the biggest fan Dana has. Love you lots!!!!!

06/16/2010 10:06 pmBoth of you are very special people and have been through so much. If anyone deserves a Mustang it would be you two. I keep telling Donald that we need to make a trip and meet his family. Maybe one day soon we will do that. After all family is everything.
