The day my life was changed forever!

0:00

I will never forget that day! It was October 4,2010. I went to the Drs. for the news Dr. Heck said "Im sorry to tell you that you have breast cancer"! I hate that word! I will always remember that day for the rest of my life!

I completed chemotherapy, radiation, I wore my head bald without a wig with pride that I am going to fight this terrible disease!
october 4, 2011 I am cancer free!

I was BRCA positive. I had the gene that caused breast and ovary cancer!

I am scheduled for my ovary to be removed November 15, 2011 , and I am having my left breast redone! and that will be It!

I pray that they come up with a CURE!
I pray that I stay cancer free for me, my family and my wonderful husband who has been by my side through It all!

I want to thank my husband for being my rock to fight cancer! He had my back the whole time! He said "I can't wait until I get my new toys???" My new breasts! I just laughed! He does that to me!

I want to thank my children for being there to comfort me when I was so, tired that I couldn't move out of my bed! They would come In and just lay with me and say, I love you mommy! They are my world and I wasn't ready to give them up! I wantedd more birthdays! Thank you god for allowing this to happen!
